New CIC Overnights for Youngest Cabins

Today CIC finalized an agreement with the Offshore Cruising Club so that CIC campers can be part of small group overnights at Little Geiger Cove, about 1/2 mile from Howlands Landing.

Little Geiger Cove has a small beach, great snorkeling and an area for cooking and sleeping. It's a perfect place for our youngest campers to have their first overnight camping experience away from Howlands Landing.

During the two week sessions, a cabin will kayak to Little Geiger in the late afternoon and return the next morning. All of their camping gear will be sent by boat. The campers will snorkel, learn to cook outdoors and sleep under the stars before returning to camp the next morning. Each cabin will have at least 3 staff with them during their overnight.

Camping at Little Geiger should be a highlight of the camp for these younger campers who don't ever get to leave camp.
